Candle Care

  • Your candle's first burn should be a minimum of 2-3 hours.
  • With every burn, ensure that the wax melts all the way to the edge of the container. This will allow for consistent, even burning for the remainder of the candle and will ensure that no wax is leftover or wasted.

  • Trim the wick before every use to around 5mm and remove the extra cuttings. This will stop the flame from burning too high.
  •

    • Do not burn the candle continuously for longer than 4 hours as too much carbon can collect on the wick which can cause the wick to become unstable.

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
    • Burn only on a level, stable, fire resistant surface.
    • Keep away from draughts, vibrations, children and pets.

    • The strength of the scent will intensify after each burn and will vary in different room sizes - a smaller room will mean a stronger scent.

    • Soy wax burns cleaner and significantly longer than paraffin wax. It is also non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
    • With variations in temperatures the surface of the candle can appear uneven, oily, bubbly or 'frosty' around the edges. These characteristics are distinctive to pure soy wax and are testament to the natural quality of the candles.
